Puppetry of the Penis

Flavor: Who Knows?

Puppetry of the Penis, created in 1996, is a show starring two naked puppeteers who twist their penises into different shapes.

The performance has attracted many complaints, the last one came from a Chicago community advocate during the group's current US tour.

But Chicago Police have refused to ban the show.

In the current show, the performers begin by leaping onto the stage in a cloud of smoke wearing big shiny cloaks, socks and baseball boots.

The cloaks then come off and spectators can view a projection onto a screen --via a video camera--of penis poses ranging from The Pelican to The Windsurfer, The Eiffel Tower or The Hamburger.

Dates are yet to be set for Puppetry of the Penis to return to Australia but a DVD of their show will be released later this year.
